鼠列十二生肖之首，屬子。它與人類生活密切相關(guān)，從古代《詩經(jīng)》中的民歌《碩鼠》，到現(xiàn)在的童謠“小老鼠，上燈臺”，都離不開它的身影。從民俗文化角度看，鼠是具有無比靈性、聰慧神秘的小動物。幾千年前，我國民間認(rèn)為鼠能通靈，就把它列入“四大家”、“五大門”的動物原始崇拜，對其有獨特的敬畏。相傳鼠有創(chuàng)世奇功，天地未開之時，是它咬破天地泄露陰陽之氣，萬物才得以生發(fā)。鼠借騎牛之機奪得十二生肖之首，被稱為聰明靈活、機敏善變的代表。鼠因繁殖力、生命力強，被視為家業(yè)興旺、繁盛不衰的象征。鼠通“數(shù)”，常與錢搭配為“數(shù)錢”，有財源滾滾、招財進寶的吉祥寓意。
  中國文聯(lián)副主席、中國民間文藝家協(xié)會主席、山東省文聯(lián)主席、山東工藝美術(shù)學(xué)院院長潘魯生指出，如何進一步認(rèn)識和發(fā)掘傳統(tǒng)的生肖文化意象，如何在流動不息的生活里傳承和塑造生肖文化，如何以廣闊的視野、使世界各地更多的人們認(rèn)識和傳播我們的優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化，是藝術(shù)與設(shè)計的使命?？上驳氖?，越來越多高校師生和國內(nèi)外設(shè)計師參與到設(shè)計中來，這些精彩的作品不僅增添了節(jié)日的氣息，也提供給我們生肖文化發(fā)展的新的樣本和路徑，其中的設(shè)計語言、文化內(nèi)涵、民俗意義、生活視野等，能夠加深我們對于中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化的認(rèn)識、對傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日生活和設(shè)計文化的理解。
  本屆大賽共收到全國301所高校的參賽作品6753件，國內(nèi)外著名設(shè)計師、漫畫家的特邀作品330件。參賽院校包括清華大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院、西安美術(shù)學(xué)院、廣州美術(shù)學(xué)院、湖北美術(shù)學(xué)院、魯迅美術(shù)學(xué)院、四川美術(shù)學(xué)院、天津美術(shù)學(xué)院、吉林藝術(shù)學(xué)院、云南藝術(shù)學(xué)院、廣西藝術(shù)學(xué)院、南京藝術(shù)學(xué)院等全國知名設(shè)計院校,也包括同濟大學(xué)、南開大學(xué)、山東大學(xué)、四川大學(xué)、廣州大學(xué)、東北大學(xué)、湖北大學(xué)等高水平綜合類大學(xué);國際特邀作品來自于美國、法國、英國、意大利、俄羅斯、加拿大等30個國家和地區(qū)。
  經(jīng)過初審和終審專家認(rèn)真嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)脑u審,共評出獲獎作品348件。其中:生肖創(chuàng)意大獎空缺,金獎2件,銀獎6件,銅獎10件,優(yōu)秀獎30件,入選獎300件。這些優(yōu)秀作品以極其豐富的設(shè)計語言展示出“鼠”這一生肖形象的千姿百態(tài):它們或勾勒神韻，或刻畫入微;或傳遞吉愿，或針砭時弊;或樸質(zhì)淡雅，或濃墨重彩;或詼諧幽默，或發(fā)人深省......但無論那種形式，都有傳承、有創(chuàng)新、有發(fā)展，讓生肖鼠這一傳統(tǒng)文化形象彰顯出現(xiàn)代品格，為我們呈現(xiàn)出一場場視覺盛宴。這些作品背后凝結(jié)著每一位設(shè)計師的智慧與汗水。在此，感謝大家的熱情參與和傾力支持，一幅幅經(jīng)典之作讓我們有欣喜、有觸動、有感悟，讓我們有力量為當(dāng)今設(shè)計事業(yè)的發(fā)展共囊盛舉。
