為進一步服務(wù)國家教育對外開放戰(zhàn)略和創(chuàng)新驅(qū)動發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略，提高浙江高等教育水平和國際影響力，加快浙江大學建設(shè)中國特色世界一流大學，浙江大學國際聯(lián)合學院（海寧國際校區(qū)）于2016年9月正式招生開學，2017年10月校園全面啟用。2022年9月，國家發(fā)展和改革委員會、教育部、科學技術(shù)部聯(lián)合印發(fā)《浙江大學國際聯(lián)合學院（海寧）、昆山杜克大學國際合作教育樣板區(qū)建設(shè)方案》，支持浙江大學國際校區(qū)打造區(qū)域國際合作教育新標桿。

The founding of International Campus was an important initiative of Zhejiang University to further serve China's opening-up strategy in education and innovation-driven development. It was also an important measure by the university to proactively respond to the goals of Zhejiang Province to become a powerhouse in higher education, aiming at elevating Zhejiang University to a world-class university with Chinese characteristics. International Campus was launched in March 2016, and received the first cohort of students in September. It was completed and fully opened in October 2017. International Campus will continue in its pursuit of excellence and strive to become a model of international collaborative education.

文化性 Cultural Significance

命名應(yīng)格調(diào)高雅、含義深刻，能充分展現(xiàn)浙江大學以及國際校區(qū)的辦學特色、文化內(nèi)涵、歷史底蘊和價值追求。應(yīng)同時提交中英文名稱，并附200字以內(nèi)命名說明。

The names should be elegant and meaningful, demonstrating the distinctive educational characteristics, cultural significance, historical heritage, and values of both Zhejiang University and International Campus. Both Chinese and English names should be provided, along with a naming explanation of no more than 200 words.

易記性 Memorability

命名既要文字優(yōu)美簡練、寓意雋永，又要雅致順暢、朗朗上口，便于傳播。

The names should be concise, beautiful, timeless in meaning, and pleasant-sounding, making them easy to remember and spread.

整體性 Coherence

命名應(yīng)與校區(qū)整體環(huán)境相協(xié)調(diào)，體現(xiàn)出校園規(guī)劃的整體布局，以系列命名為佳。

The names should harmonize with the overall environment of the campus and reflect the overall campus design. It is preferable to have a series of names that are interconnected.

規(guī)范性 Standardization

命名應(yīng)當符合國家法律、社會公德和語言文字規(guī)范，不使用多音字或生僻字，避免出現(xiàn)諧音和歧義。

The names should comply with national laws, social ethics, and linguistic norms. Please avoid using homophones or rare characters.

獎項設(shè)置 Awards

錄用獎 Acceptance Award

對命名方案最終被采用的個人或團體，國際校區(qū)頒發(fā)榮譽紀念證書，給予5000元獎勵。

The individual or group whose naming proposal is ultimately adopted will be awarded an honorary certificate and a prize of 5,000 RMB.

參與獎 Participation Award

對命名方案在投票階段排名前三而未被最終錄用的個人或團體，給予1000元獎勵。

Other individuals or groups whose naming proposals rank top 3 during the voting stage will receive a prize of 1,000 RMB each.
